Our Story
Shobha Crafts Handmade began in the quiet moments of rediscovery. Growing up in India, founder Shobha nurtured her creativity quietly—crocheting, stitching, and dreaming while dedicating herself to family and community. She found joy in sharing her talents with women in her neighborhood, forming deep bonds through craft.
As her children followed their own paths, her craft became a thread connecting her to her roots, empowering other women back home to support their families.
Moving to the United States in her 60s brought a profound cultural shift. But her hands remembered the joy of making. Through shared designs, messages, and mutual encouragement, those lifelong friends in India helped bring Shobha Crafts Handmade to life.
Today, we represent a community-driven movement that uplifts women across borders, proving that creativity knows no distance and that it’s never too late to begin again.
